The Raspberry PI board can be used to control the KUKA youBot instead of the youBot's internal PC or an own PC.
The youBot driver has been tested only under Wheezy with ROS Indigo, though other setups should work as well. In any case you need to install the driver by source, there are no precompiled packages for the Raspberry. Otherwise there are no limitations known so far.
You can choose compiling the driver with ROS, or without. Instructions for installing ROS on the Raspberry PI can be found at
http://wiki.ros.org/ROSberryPi/Setting%20up%20ROS%20on%20RaspberryPi
If you installed ROS Hydro or ROS Indigo on the Raspberry, just follow the default instructions for installing the youBot driver.
If you installed an older version of ROS, you need to update two files, see
http://www.youbot-store.com/wiki/index.php?title=Youbot_driver#Raspberry_PI
for instructions.
Afterwards you should be able to use any program for the youBot like on other Linux systems.
More information on Raspberry PI, in general, can be found at http://www.raspberrypi.org.
