Burned fuse

Damaged battery

The battery is in general quite sensitive and should never be left connected when the youBot doesn't work because it slowly discharges. It may eventually results in battery failure.

YouBot battery pack is consisted of two separate battery cells of 12V each. Both battery cells should show a voltage more than 12 Volt when fully charged. If the voltage of the batteries is lower then 10 V after charging, then unfortunately the batteries may be irreparably damaged. To check if your battery is broken:

  1. Unplug the battery from the youBot
  2. Use a multimeter and check the voltage of the two cells
